Must Love Cut-And-Sew Dogs
Plus strawberry jam, the best facial in town, an Araks haul, reliable sunscreen and my TRR obsessions.

There are fewer and fewer purchases — specifically, physical goods — I can think of these days that are genuinely worth their price tag. The things that actually live up to their value are most often not in plain sight. It's the deep-cut, highly-reviewed reddit items and unlikely, mistagged pieces in the depths of Etsy that feel most rewarding. This is where I experience the least amount of buyer's remorse. Of course, actually stumbling upon these finds sometimes comes with a toll, which is hours spent scrolling, but that's a metaphorical price I'm willing to pay. Beyond those deep dives, there are a few hot tickets in town and people making things that qualify as feel-good (and just good) purchases. Here are my (more than) five buys.
1. Something (Anything) from Everyone's Mother
Emma Larimer creates handmade bags, pillows, and objects from preloved textiles. She's equally an artist and designer and fiber scientist. She also donates a portion of her proceeds to organizations dedicated to environmatal care. I saw this pilllow first, and then this hat, and then her hand-patched antique runners, and now I want it all.
2. A Facial with Gill
She's no secret, but she is it. If I could have a facial with Gill every two weeks, I would. Yes, she has all of the tools and products anyone could ever want, but her service also comes with a heavenly studio space and the lovely Gill herself. Need I say more!
3. Tickets to Las Culturistas' Culture Awards
The hottest ticket in town! Who wants to come with me! As an avid listener I think I'd have the time of my life.
4. Bioré Aqua Rich Sunscreen
Maybe not the most exciting one to share, but sunscreen is one of those products I could never get right. My skin is sensitive and was just not having it from your everyday Supergoop (which, in some cases, I do love). Bioré's sunscreen is one I found in a TikTok search for the perfect face screen (50 spf!), and now I've replenished the 14.99 bottle 4x. The reviews say it all.
5. Everything from Shady Acres Farm
I recently bought their Strawberry Rhubarb Jam and can't get enough.
6. Araks' Lace Bralette
Once upon a time, I had the perfect bralette from Top Secret (it was literally this one, which could be bought at Shopbop or Scoop, what a time). They're still around, but I've been looking for one that has thinner fabric/is lighter. Araks is one of my favorite brands for their colors and silhouettes, and this lace bralette, simple as it may seem, is my dream bra. I also recently bought Araks' signature tanks in black and white. Come to think of it, there's nothing from this brand that I don't want.
7. My TRR Obsessions
As a bonus, here are 7 of my current obsessions on The Real Real. If you buy them I'll be so sad and also so happy all at the same time.
