FIDLAR's Summer Is Anything But Sad
What do rock stars even do in the summer? On the heels of their new single "SAD KIDS", and gearing up for their upcoming album "SURVIVING THE DREAM," FIDLAR lead Zac Carper gives us the scoop on his summer bucket list.

As summer winds down, most of us are scrambling to tick off those final bucket list items. But what if you’re Zac Carper, the unapologetically wild lead singer of the punk rock band FIDLAR? For a rockstar like Zac, the end of summer involves single releases (listen to FIDLAR’s latest single, “SAD KIDS” below), tour planning, demos, pet rats, and a whole lot more we’d never think of.
FIDLAR has made a name for themselves with their reckless abandon, so it’s safe to say their idea of a summer send-off is anything but ordinary, which is why we asked Zac to share his summer bucket list below.
go to death valley not on drugs
produce a Dungeon Metal band (@forest__lawn)
produce a Country Band (@braxtonhickstheband)
produce an art punk band in the desert when it’s 116*F (@playboymanbaby)
adopt a pet rat

- tag more
- give more FIDLAR tattoos
- make more pedal boards
- put more dings in my surfboard
- write more poems
- walk dog with surfboard leash
- scuba with suzy more
- drink more water
- fall more (wipeouts)
- less screen time (unplug)
- eat taco zone more or less
- get more emo
- do 100 push-ups a day
- take guitar lessons
- spend time with STAR (tats backward)
- spend time with my dogs
- go see a show at The Sphere
- release more demos cuz fuck it
- be more japanese to make mom proud
- get ripped (like, jacked)
- stop binge-ing
- listen to phoebe bridgers for the first time (i did and she slaps)
- release 4th FIDLAR record and write the 5th record (7 songs in)
- tour with friends in Australia
- finish final boss in Zelda TOTK
