Sanne Van Rij
Sanne van Rij (1996) is a Dutch journalist and writer based in Amsterdam. She has published essays and features on subjects such as emotion, digital culture, beauty and intimacy in national newspapers and magazines including Vogue and ELLE. Alongside her writing, she creates content about interesting restaurants and contemporary culinary phenomena. In 2023, she published her debut novel 'Ik weet zeker dat het liefde was', a personal story exploring how the loss of her mother continued to shape her later relationships. She is currently working on her second novel.
